I recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington. During my time at UW, I built a strong foundation in core engineering principles and key subjects within my major. In addition to my coursework, I gained experience with software tools such as QGIS, Python, and AutoCAD, and developed a solid proficiency that allows me to confidently apply them to real-world engineering challenges. Outside the classroom, I was an active member of the Engineering Student Council, where I worked to improve the student experience and promote collaboration across the engineering community.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors doing many different activities. To list a few, I rock climb, bike, snowboard, practice aikido, and hike. When the weather isn’t as accommodating for outdoor activities, I love to read novels and books. I also love spending time with family and friends whenever possible.
Where do you go for a weekend getaway?
Cultus Lake in Oregon. I love to jump in the water and do some water sports with my family.
What do you listen to while working toward a deadline?
Movie scores, video game themes, and orchestral music. Occasionally I will listen to some pop music.
What’s your most powerful characteristic?
I am highly adaptable to pressure. I can easily shift gears from one task to another and still produce quality results.
What’s the best live music show you’ve seen?
September 2023, Seattle, Ed Sheeran. A close second is September 2022, Shoreline Amphitheatre, Imagine Dragons
What’s your biggest ambition?
I want to climb the half-dome in Yosemite. I would also like to backpack and climb many across the country.
