Grayling Engineers (Grayling) is currently seeking candidates for a civil engineer (5+ years of experience) position in our Vancouver, WA office.

What You’ll Do                       

  • Lead and manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities.
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships to develop future opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent education is required
  • 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing is required (Washington and/or Oregon, or ability to become licensed if out of state)
  • Experience working on municipal and other public sector projects (state, county, city, special service district,  and federal)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and management
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools, such as latest AutoCAD and Civil 3D
