Hillhurst Pump Station Hydraulic Evaluation

Grayling completed a hydraulic evaluation of several sanitary pump stations along Hillhurst Road in Ridgefield for the Clark Regional Wastewater District. The study was built on Grayling’s previous assessment, which connected five pump stations to a common force main along Hillhurst Road while directing the sixth station to the Taverner 2 sanitary basin.

Following operational challenges at the Taverner 1 pump station and excessive pump wear at the Cassini pump station, Grayling analyzed system hydraulics and pump performance. The evaluation provided recommendations for upsizing pumps at Taverner 1, assessing operating conditions at the Cassini pump station, and replacing pumps at the Wishing Well pump station to improve system reliability.
