Sewer, Water, and Stormwater Replacement

Under an ongoing on-call contract, Grayling is providing engineering services for multiple water, sewer, and stormwater main replacement projects supporting the City’s long-term infrastructure renewal program.

System 1 Reservoirs 1 & 2

Replacement of two aging wood reservoirs with new aboveground storage tanks and pump stations to improve water system reliability, storage capacity, and fire flow.

Water System Master Plan & Water Rate Study

Updated the District’s Capital Improvement Plan, integrated projects into a new water rate structure, and completed predesign for a new 3.0 MG reservoir to support long-term system reliability and storage capacity.

Millersylvania Water Improvements

Preliminary design for replacement of the aging potable water system at Millersylvania State Park, including a new reservoir, booster pump station, and upgraded distribution mains.

3.0 MG Reservoir #4

Predesign and design of a new 3.0 MG Sylvan Hill reservoir to expand storage capacity while balancing constructability, water quality, and cost efficiency.

East Hockinson Reservoir #2

Design of a new 1.2-MG welded steel reservoir to double storage capacity in the Hockinson zone, including multidisciplinary coordination of tank, structural, and coating systems.

2022 Waterline Replacements

Design and replacement of aging waterlines along Loop Road, Vancouver Avenue, and Ryan-Allen Road to improve reliability of the City’s drinking water system.

Hampton Reservoir Replacement

Replacement of the Hampton storage facility with a new 220,000-gallon welded steel reservoir to address sanitary survey deficiencies and improve system reliability.

System 3 Reservoir Replacement

Pre-design and planning for replacement of an aging 125,000-gallon water tank, including hydraulic evaluation, site selection, permitting, final design, and construction services.
