2022 Waterline Replacements

Grayling provided design, bidding, and construction management services for the City of Stevenson (City) for three separate replacement sections of waterline associated with the City’s drinking water system along Loop Road, Vancouver Avenue, and Ryan-Allen Road. Existing sections of 8-inch diameter asbestos cement pipe located within Loop Road and Vancouver Avenue have reached the end of their useful life and need replacement. Similarly, an existing section of 6-inch asbestos cement pipe located on Ryan-Allen Road has reached the end of its useful life and needs replacement. Work included designing connections to the existing distribution network, designing new service connections to existing water services, specifying surface restoration requirements, developing an erosion control plan, assessing corrosion risks, and assessing traffic control requirements.
